Mini-Maxi Playgroups are supported playgroups for children aged up to 5 years old.

Mini Maxi are an opportunity for parents to connect with each other, share their experiences of parenting and learn new parenting skills while being supported by our Facilitator who coordinates the activities. Mini Maxi provide children with an opportunity to socialise, play and learn in a structured and positive environment as well as participating in age-appropriate learning experiences and activities.

The playgroups also provide access to community information and resources about parenting (with regular Guest Speakers from local services), and most importantly, provides a safe place to understand the value of playing with their child.

The group is structured around a school term (9-10 weeks) and provides a small group setting for parents to meet other parents, access information and resources about parenting, and most importantly, understand the value of playing with their child.

Come along to have fun with your child/ren and connect with other families, to share the joys (and challenges) of parenting.

DADS&bubs Playgroup

Fun, free and supported playgroup that provides opportunities for Dads/carers and their children (0 – 5 years old) to explore the importance of play, whilst building on their parenting skills and developing social networks.

Term 3 : 2022

When:   Saturdays: 6 August to 24 September 2022

Time:     9:30am to 11:30am

Where:  The Northern Centre, Level 3, 3-5 Anthony Road, West Ryde

Culture Drop

A fun and free supported 9-week playgroup for families who speak another language other than English at home and have a child under 5 years.

You can meet other families in your community whilst supporting your child’s social skills as they interact and enjoy lots of fun activities with the other children.

Term 2 : 2023

Dates: 28 April to 30 June

Times: Fridays from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

DADS&bubs (Not running Term 1 : 2022)

Fun, free and supported playgroup held on Saturday mornings over 8 weeks, DADSnbubs provides opportunities for Dads/carers and their children (0 – 5 years old) to explore the importance of play, build on their parenting skills and enable Dads/carers to expand and develop their social networks with one another.

Celebration of Chinese Grandparents Playgroup

As a Chinese grandparent, we want to celebrate how wonderful you are!

If you have a grandchild under 5 years of age, please bring them along for a morning of supported fun activities and meet other grandparents.

Every Wednesday 10:30am to 12:30pm from 5 February to 22 April 2020.

Sensory Play Parties

We are planning to run our Sensory Play Parties again in the next school holidays.
